Eric Carle Math

Story Problems and Butterfly Pattern Designs

The following are some math activities we did last week and this week incorporating Eric Carle.
You can find some caterpillar story problems below

super easy

We are focusing on story problems that have to do with subtraction.  We started to make some caterpillar problems on Kerpoof.

We made pattern block butterflies. The download looks fuzzy, but I think it will print like the original.

They had to make the wings symmetrical, and we recorded the most, least and altogether.

I used pattern stamps to record. The kids loved doing these.

This week's question...

Do you like junk food or healthy food?

  2. Thank you so much for sharing! We do an Eric Carle unit in April! I couldn't get your butterfly pattern block sheet to download. When I clicked on download here, it did not show a download button.
    Thanks again!

  4. We are always exciting to read through articles from other authors and practice something from their websites. Here you have shared lots of educational information for childrens.

Our content is so much similar to the preschool where your kids spend time. Our Rhymes are exceptionally Rhythmic unlike others.
